In a thrilling display of golfing prowess, Neha Tripathi continued to assert her dominance in the 12th leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) at the picturesque Golden Greens Golf & Resorts Ltd. With every swing, she showcased her unyielding commitment to excellence, extending her one-shot overnight lead to a commanding two-shot advantage.

Neha Tripathi’s masterful performance was a testament to her dedication. She navigated the challenging back nine with remarkable skill, carding a scintillating 4-under 32. Her final tally, an impressive 5-under 76, not only solidified her lead but also left spectators in awe.

Starting with a strong first round, she escalated her game further with a remarkable 5-under 67 in the second round. Her total score of 7-under 137 was enough to keep her in contention, albeit two strokes behind Neha.

In the closely fought competition, Asmitha Sathish and Gaurika Bishnoi weren’t to be left behind. They were tied for third place, displaying remarkable skill and determination. Asmitha crafted her rounds with precision, carding 71-70, while Gaurika’s journey featured a blend of birdies and bogeys, ultimately culminating in a 3-under 141.

Ridhima Dilawari’s game was not without its ups and downs, yet she secured the fifth spot with a commendable 2-under 142, marred only by a late double bogey.

Neha Tripathi’s exceptional performance was a testament to her relentless off-season preparation. Her game oozed sharpness, leaving her competitors trailing in her wake. However, she swiftly rebounded on the back nine, reeling off four birdies on the 10th, 12th, 15th, and 16th, ensuring a two-shot cushion as she headed into the next thrilling round.

The tournament also witnessed Agrima Manral making an impressive five-shot improvement in her second round, elevating her to a tied sixth position alongside Jasmine Shekar at 1-under 143.

Tvesa Malik’s day was filled with contrasting fortunes, as she notched seven birdies but conceded five bogeys in her round of 70. She concluded the day tied for eighth place with Khushi Khanijau and Durga Nittur.
