The resounding clang of weapons and the aura of determination filled the air as participants from Maharashtra, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, and Gujarat clashed in a fierce competition of skill and dedication.

Amidst the intensity of the championship, the warriors of Taishido Dojo – Vadodara emerged as beacons of glory for Gujarat. A total of 15 medals were clinched by the participants, an awe-inspiring feat that echoed their unrelenting commitment and hard work. The spotlight shone brightly on Aarav Rana, who secured an astonishing 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal. Pearl Dalwadi, a force to be reckoned with, claimed 3 Gold medals and 1 Bronze medal. Piyush Sharma showcased his mettle with 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal, and 2 Bronze medals, while Vihaan Danej added to the triumph with 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal. Over half a century ago, he embarked on a journey to learn Karate, driven by a fervent passion. His quest for knowledge led him to Mumbai, where he trained under Sensei Parvez Mistry. Armed with invaluable expertise, Sensei Shirish Thite returned to Gujarat to ignite the spark of martial arts in his homeland.

Sensei Shirish’s journey didn’t end with Karate. He delved into Judo, Kobudo, and various martial art techniques, becoming a beacon of wisdom for over 1000 students. His dedication to imparting his knowledge to the next generation has been unwavering. At The Taishido Dojo, he continues to mold young talents into champions, nurturing their skills and spirits with unwavering commitment.

The Torchbearer: Ishika Thite

In the midst of Sensei Shirish Thite’s legacy stands a remarkable torchbearer – Ishika Thite.
